Ray Ban 2132 - The Best Sunglasses This Summer

We all know Ray Bans are must have fashion accessories. But which one? There´s a whole range of great shades. Well this summer, why not go a bit retro and go for a pair of Ray Ban rb 2132 New Wayfarer sunglasses? Ray Ban´s coolest style, just jazzed up a little for a 21st century look.

Ray Bans have stayed at the fore-front of fashion since a whole host of stars wore them in the 1950's and 60's and certainly show no sign of disappearing anytime soon. There's simply no other pair of sunglasses that give that certain je ne sais quo, fashionable, yet functional. And at the same time equally in place on either the beach or at a wedding. The New Wayfarer is definitely my pick for the essential shades to have in your wardrobe. So lets find out a bit more about them!

So what's so special about the New Wayfarer? Well it's very similar to the iconic original, but like I say, just remodeled slightly for this century.

The lenses are slightly rounder, while the frame is slightly slimmer and in more of a rectangular shape. This gives a sleeker look that doesn't dominate the face in quite the same way that the originals do. They are, however, instantly recognizable as a pair of Wayfarers.

This slightly slimmer styling looks especially good on women but they are unisex glasses.

It's classic styling and you'll notice that they seem to fit great. They stay firmly on the face when jumping or cycling which makes them ideal for outside sports. Another small but important detail is the lenses sit far enough from your actual eyes that your eye lashes aren't continually brushing it, unlike other less reputable shades.

When you put on a pair of New Wayfarers you know you're donning the same quality style as Audrey Hepburn, Bob Dylan, Tom Cruise, James Dean and many many more who loved the originals.

The lenses and frames too come in a variety of colors. Some of these are; yellow tortoise, navy/black, sand/black, classic tortoise, shiny sand / crystal. There really is a color to suit everyone. Myself, I like the classic tortoise, but each to their own! And remember too, that whatever color you decide to go for it'll always be offering you 100 % UV protection.

Ok. Before you order your pair of Ray Ban 2132, there are just a couple of things you need to know to help you buy the perfect pair.

First of all, what size? The 52mm or the 55? Well if you are a man I strongly recommend the larger 55mm frame. They´ll look and fit really well. For women? Well you of course should probably go for the 52's unless you have an unusually large face.

As to colors, it's a personal choice obviously but here are some references to get you going.

In the New Wayfarer, the pair Tom Cruise wore in Risky Business would be color code 901, black/grey green while Audrey Hepburn's tortoise shell ones from Breakfast at Tiffany´s would be color code 902L tortoise.

Make sure you get both of these things right before you buy! The range of colors on the rb2132 is enormous so you shouldn't have too much trouble getting exactly what you want.
